Tartan Plaid Christmas Tablescape
Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful December so far. The Christmas season has always been a favorite one for our family. It's the season to gather with family and friends, bake cookies and prepare our favorite family recipes.
It's also my favorite time of the year to entertain, even though there will be fewer of us gathered at the table this year. And as much as it breaks my heart to be unable to have our entire family together this holiday season, it is important to celebrate Christmas and keep our family traditions going.
Today I'm sharing my first Christmas Tablescape of the season with you. True to my style, there's no shortage of mixed and matched patterns and colors here. I am really feeling classic Tartan Plaid table linens this year!!! It's bright, versatile and complements a wide variety of seasonal dinnerware. But I LOVE most about this pattern, is that it has the ability to add a touch of holiday flair to simple everyday plates if you do not own any seasonal dinnerware.
Tis the season to deck the halls, as well as our tables, so I'm bringing out the Tartan Plaid for this fun and festive Christmas Tablescape.
I used a Tartan Plaid table runner for the foundation of the table. I then added a few fresh greens and gold candlesticks along the center. For a bit of sparkle, I added a string of battery operated lights. It is amazing how such a small accessory can bring the table to life!!!
Red and green always equals Christmas cheer for me but I must say, the red plaid looks great with the black. It is such a great contrast!!! Red Tartan Plaid is just one of those patterns that invites the color and feel of the season gracefully to our tables.
A gold reindeer and paper cup filled with gold chocolates bring a touch of the holiday festivities to the place setting.
