Holiday Gift Wrap Ideas

Christmas is almost here, and I have been very busy preparing for the big day.  The shopping is almost done, cookies will be baked tomorrow but I definitely need to move onto the wrapping.

Wrapping gifts is one of my favorite things to do, it totally gives me all the Christmas vibes.  The presentation of a gift is just as exciting as what is inside of the package but sometimes, that can be costly.  I thought it would be fun to share some crafty, elegant and inexpensive ways to wrap your holidays gifts.

This year, I am really loving anything that evokes an Old World Christmas..  It's nostalgic, beautiful and full of charm.

There are a few essentials for pretty gift wrapping - ribbon, gift tags, ornaments and of course, the paper.. Brown paper is one of my go-to's for gift wrap.  It's easily found and inexpensive.  I also think it's extremely versatile!  Gold and sheet music papers are also very classy and timeless.  Side Note:  try to by gift wrap paper and ribbons during the after Christmas sales...

Satin ribbon is also an easy way to elevate your gift wrapping. I went with muted colors this holiday season.  The softer tones complement the brown paper beautifully.

A small piece of fresh greens is a lovely touch and gives the package an organic feel.

As I mentioned previously, sheet music printed paper is tailor-made for the holidays.  It is such a timeless print and one that will surely elevate any package.

Below, you will see that by using a glossy satin ribbon and an inexpensive cameo purchased from the craft store you can make your holiday gift wrap look like it was done at a high-end store.  The combination of these items bestow an elegant vintage style that I truly LOVE...

You can also add a pretty ornament of holiday pick for a fun and festive touch.

The possibilities for creating eye-catching and unique holiday gift wrap are endless. Just let your artistic side take over and you'll see the beautiful things that you can create.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope that you will take an idea or two from this post.

Happy wrapping friends.

Janet
