Rosemary & Thyme

A few months ago, I hosted an intimate lunch for my sister and cousins.  My favorite corner of the yard was the perfect backdrop.  Our large cherry weeping willow tree offered just the right amount of shade.  I knew that I wanted to setup a table that was effortless yet colorful and inviting, and came up with the lemon theme. This charming lemon themed table is probably one of my favorite tablescapes to date because it's elegant yet feels casual and perfect for any summertime gathering.  The rustic wood table is the one element that gives this table that easy vibe.  Best part of it all, is that I feel that anyone can re-create this look in a matter of minutes. Because the lemons were going to be the main character, I kept the place setting simple.  Yellow placemats echo the theme of the table, white plates with a blue trim from AERIN Lauder.  For an additional pop of color, I placed monogrammed and buffalo check napkins on top of the salad plates.  Definitely my favorite detail bec
