Dining Alfresco: Blue and White Spring Table Setting For Two

Hello lovely friends and happy Wednesday to you all.  I just love how beautiful it is at this time of year.  Especially in our garden!!!  The grass is beautifully manicured and the roses, hydrangeas and peonies are blooming.  The birds are chirping their little hearts away.

To say that I am enjoying this serene paradise would be an understatement!!  It has been a blessing to be able to spend time outdoors and nature at its finest...

This weekend I was able to spend time with a special friend and surprised her with a delightful and laidback lunch in our gardenAnd we all know that alfresco dining beats indoors any day.

I wanted a fresh and clean spring feel for my table and so the timeless blue and white combination seemed like the perfect choice.  And lets face it, you just can't go wrong with blue and white!

It didn't take much effort or guessing since I already had a table runner in mind as my guide.  A combination of soft blue tones which was ideal for pairing with my treasured Sasha Nicholas monogrammed salad plates and Aerin Lauder blue and white dinnerware.

Fresh hydrangeas from my garden placed in simple pitcher add a touch of  color and texture.  Check buffalo napkins in blue and white add dimension and style while simple goblets bring timeless elegance..  Details and accessories that when combined add to the dreaminess of this lovely outdoor table setting.

This pretty table is inviting an cozy enough to use for an intimate Sunday brunch or afternoon tea.

I firmly believe that the difference between an ordinary gathering and a memorable one lies in the details.  So go ahead, go the extra mile and create a table that makes you smile and want to linger!

Fondly,

Janet
