A Chic and Modern Easter Table With Vibrant Colors

Hello again friends and welcome back for another fun Easter Table.

Today I am thrilled to bring you a table that is definitely outside of my typical soft tones and romantic vibes.  Although I am totally on board with spring pastels, I wanted to set an Easter Table full of vibrant colors, modern vibes, and style.  I call it an Easter Table for grown-ups!  Here's how I did it!

My inspiration for this table came from the colorful Kate Spade napkins that I found on a recent trip to Home Goods.  I just loved the orange and pink combination.  You wouldn't think that it works but it's definitely a color combination that adds drama and visual appeal.

The Table Cloth

The easiest and most effective way to add a significant color to your table, is by adding a bright-colored tablecloth.  I found this beautiful round tablecloth at Home Goods and it couldn't be more ideal.  It unquestionably sets the stage for the place setting that follows.

The Place Setting

Combine dish sets.  Here, I mixed gold chargers with delicate, white gold-edged bone china and a soup bowl decorated with blue dotted lines. I then accented each place setting with the Kate Spade orange and pink napkin. Goblets with gold trim add a touch of timeless elegance and sophistication.

The Flatware

For me, flatware is the jewelry of the table and today, we have so many options.  From classic, modern to rustic - we have it all.  And while this table can work with simple gold flatware, I went with this gorgeous navy blue and gold set.  Is it another way to bring bold color and classic style to the table.

The Flowers

For the flowers,I like to keep it simple by using single-flower groupings.  During springtime, tulips are abundant, affordable, and ideal for creating an elegant arrangement without too much effort.  For drama, I used a large gold vase that I already had.

The Easter Touches

Keep the Easter decorations simple.  No need for buying bunny plates that you are only going to use once a year.  Add a single festive decoration such a colorful bunny.  It's a fun way to add a festive touch to your table without a large investment.  The added bonus is that you can then use it to decorate around your home.

As you can see, this table is decorated with Waster in mind but it can easily work for any occasion.  I hope I have inspired to set out of your comfort zone to create a fresh and vibrant table this Easter holiday.

Happy entertaining lovelies....

  1. Hola querida amiga !
Your Easter table for grown ups is gorgeous ! I love those cute bunnies and the dishes chosen are wonderful, as you always have a talent for mixing and matching.
The table topper in pink is perfect and the flatware is lovely. Yes, there are so many options now in the market for flatware and they all go, as before it was that you just served with your good set and no plastic or whatever handles, ever !
    Happy Easter Season dear friend.

  2. Great, contemporary table, Janet! In my 5th grade school picture, I wore a hot pink and orange jumper/turtleneck (with hot pink fishnet hose!) that I dearly loved. I felt like a Mattel Skipper doll. Your table reminds me of all that. Very cool. We are moving into an urban condo, and our style will definitely be turning more contemporary. I look forward to the fun in styling, and all the elements of this table could easily work for me! Happy Spring, Happy Easter. Thanks for sharing.
