Apple Harvest Fall Tablescape Blog Hop

Today, I am excited to share my version of an apple harvest tablescape.  It is simple to put together yet bursting with charm, color and textures.  From the vibrant yellow sunflowers to the rich reds of the apples placed at each place setting.  These warm and inviting colors are a delightful  way to welcome fall and to create a table that will make your guests want to stay a little longer. Apple Pie Baked In Apples

Hello everyone.  Happy fall to you all! Here is an easy and fun dessert that not only looks amazing, but will have your guests asking for more.  It has everything that you love about apple pie - the warm apple filing with gooey cinnamon flavor and crunch of a pie crust - all baked inside an apple. Pre-cooked apple filling is poured into a hollowed apple and topped with an easy lattice pie crust.  Then baked for 20-25 minutes.  So easy and cute! Ingredients Large Granny Smith or Gala Apples Additional apples for filling (4) 3 tablespoons butter 1/3 cup of brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon 1 teaspoon vanilla package (14.1 oz) Pillsbury Refrigerated Pie Crust (use just 1 of the 2 crusts in the box) 1 egg, lightly beaten Steps 1 Preheat oven to 400°F. 2 Slice the top off each of your apples and scoop out the inside of the apple.
