Easy Easter Tablescape

Hello friends.  Today I bring you another fun Easter table that is easy for anyone pull together in no time.

My inspiration for this table were these sweet gingham and floral plates that I found at Michael's about a week ago.  And as a bonus, they were 40% off so you know they had to come home with me.

I wanted to create a table that was easy to put together that had plenty of charm and lots of spring vibes.  And these darling plates certainly delivered!!!  I have to admit, when I stepped back to admire my finished table, it took my breath away.  I just love all the soft tones and simple accents that elevate the look.

And here it is sweet friends!!!  Isn't she pretty?

Each of the place setting starts with simple white, everyday dinnerware.  An accent plate in the sweetest pink and white gingham pattern is added along with a festive floral dish towel with the phrase "Happy Easter".  I then finished the plate stack with a champagne coupe filled with natural shredded packaging filler and Easter eggs to give my place setting a festive touch.  Casual and simple yet striking...

I love to mix and match  plates and this floral beauty plays well with the gingham plates.  Aren't they gorgeous?  I just love the beautiful florals which adorn this salad plate.  It is spring in all its glory!!!

I layered a floral runner on the center of my white tablecloth and added a few pretty faux flowers in complementing shades to bring it all together.  Candles and glassware finish each place setting.

I love sharing simple ways to create a table you love no matter the budget. I hope you have been a little inspired here today.

Thank you for visiting.

  4. Wait a minute! Wait. A. Minute!!!!! I have been in 2 different Michaels stores no fewer than 8 times, and I never saw these gingham plates! I am a PINK FREAK as well as a total gingham lover, so what the heck?!??!?!? Maybe they were just all gone. That would make sense, I guess. They’re just to pretty!!!!! Maybe it was fate because I’m really trying to just not bring anything else into this house. But still...!!! You created a beautiful setting with them! I really like your gold flatware , too. The finish on it is really fab.

    1. I haven't seen them in my store either. But in searching online, it seems they have plates with bunnies but not in my store either. Last year I found a set of small plates with pastel plaid borders in Home Goods. In Florida, you have to be fast to find anything. We must be the shopping capital of the US here !

9 Steps for Hosting The Ultimate Spring Birthday Tea Party

Hi friends - I've missed you all.  Things are rapidly changing for us all.  Many of us are working from home these days, stopped gathering with family and weekend outings are basically trips to the supermarket to restock.  It's the least that we can do to help stop the spreading of this horrific virus that is changing the world as we know it.  That being said, I am so glad that I got to spend time with family and friends two weeks ago when we all came together for the celebration of my Goddaughter Daniella's birthday.  We had a blast and the memories made are ones that will live in my heart forever.     My sincerest thank you to everyone that helped me put this beautiful event together.  Especially my cousin, Jennifer of Having Fun Craft s, for making all the gorgeous place cards and backdrops.  They were a beautiful addition to the overall decor.  A big thank you and hug to my niece Ericka for flying in from Florida to help me put it all together and to the amazi

Wood Box Rustic Floral Arrangement Tutorial

So what do you do with an old wooden bit box found at a flea market???  Well, the answer is very simple for those of us that love all things vintage and worn...  We display flowers of course.   And luckily, I scored big on my trip to my local grocery store yesterday. Our flower vendor had the most spectacular roses in stock.  I couldn't believe how gorgeous they were.  Two tone roses in the most delicate soft shades of pink and fuchsia.  I knew these roses were meant for me!!!  I grab two bunches and practically ran home to snap a few shots of them and arrange them to showcase their timeless beauty. So today, I am sharing a tutorial on how I made this rustic centerpiece...  The best part of this tutorial, is that there are no fancy materials needed.  The only items required are the flowers, a few glass tumblers, water and floral shears or scissors.  And in less than 10 minutes, you will have a spectacular centerpiece that will rival any one that you may purchase at a Floris

A Country Christmas Tablescape

Until this Christmas, I had no idea that I was going to be having a little obsession with vintage trucks. Specifically, red pickup trucks.  Me, the girl that loves to decorate with delicate flowers and romantic fabrics.  Hard to believe but it is true!!!  And decorating with vintage cars is seems to be having a moment..  They are everywhere!! So today, I am happy to share one of my most pinned and shared tablescapes.  It is my Country/Farm house themed Christmas table which showcases my latest find. You guess it!  A red pickup truck.  It was just too adorable to pass up.  I didn't know what use it would have in my decor when I first brought it home but it quickly became the inspiration for all of our Christmas decorating the last two holiday seasons. Such a fun piece to own with a great vintage vibe too.   My whimsical table begins with a distressed wood charger in antique white, topped with simple white plates and Pier 1 Imports Glad Tidings Porcelain Salad plates.  I al
