A Relaxing Tea For Two
The Thanksgiving countdown is on and with it comes all the stress and madness of the holiday shopping season. And what better time to enjoy a relaxing cup of tea. After all, autumn is all about coziness, good food and relaxed comfort.
Yesterday, my hubby and I took some time to enjoy a bit of Afternoon Tea. To gather our thoughts and prepare for all the busy days ahead.
This cozy table combines all the beloved aspects of fall. Earthy tones, warm lighting and relaxed comfort. Simply pull up a chair and embrace all the charm.
Imagine yourself sitting here enjoying a freshly brewed cup of orange and cranberry tea. Such sweet and simple joys...
Fondly,
Janet
Oh Janet, what a lovely post. I felt like I was going to sit down there and help my self to a good cup of tea. The dishes are so pretty and go so well with your decor on the table.
ReplyDeleteI need to get some tea that will let me sleep, any recommendations?
Thanks again dear, and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Mary
What a charm !
ReplyDeleteyou're so right, my precious, sweet Janet, sometimes we have to stop our bbusy life for a while and enjoy littel things and pleasures finding a few moments for us ... they're so good for our heart and for our soul, I know it, but lately, alas, I have always less time for this ... I have to 'force' myself to do it, it's so great the benefit we can draw from it !
Sending blessings on your start of the week, and we don't meet again before, may your Thanksgiving be joyous and happy !
With all my heart and deep admiration
Dany
Janet, what a cozy and beautiful teasetting, I love it. It does me remember to yesterday afternoon, I wanted to use my autumn china for tea with a special coffee cake I baked, I thought so nice to put on my blog. When we came back of our walk with Snarf we were soaking wet and I did not feel like making a nice teasetting anymore, so we took our mugs for tea and settled ourselves in front of the fire, of course also with the cake.
ReplyDeleteWish you a wonderful week!
Janneke
Just lovely...I have a crustless pumpkin dessert in the oven now and it will be ready for tea.
