The same to you and yours, Janet. Your photos are beautiful. Each one would be perfect for a Christmas card. May I ask the maker and name of your beautiful china, please? I love white or off-white china with a raised design, my favorite being Wedgwood "Patrician". So simple yet so elegant. Your place setting is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you Nancy. Your kind words are truly appreciated.. I love off-white china too. I am always on the look out for these hard to find pieces. My pieces are from Spode. It is the Chelsea Wicker pattern.
DeleteThank you for letting me know the name of your lovely pattern. I once had service for 8 of Wedgwood Patrician (long story as to why I no longer have it) but I am always on a quest to find more of it. I did find the coffee pot at the thrift shop two Christmases ago, for $15.00! I was in my glory. I have one luncheon plate, one cup and saucer and the tea pot too. Not quite service for 8 but almost service for one. In patterned china, I have always loved Lenox's Autumn and Wedgwood's Potpourri (Williamsburg). Living alone, I hardly have the need I once did, but I still have the love and appreciation. Your tablescape is the prettiest I saw this season. I am so glad I found your blog. Happy New Year.
DeleteHappy Christmas, Janet! I hope you are enjoying a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteYour creamware is so beautiful!!!! Like Nancy, I, too, would love to know the name... :-)
All the best in 2014.
