A Pretty Vignette
Happy Friday friends. Isn't fun and relaxing to play and admire our beautiful collected vintage items. Their beauty is truly unmatched. Such attention to detail and quality. Such romantic hearts that designed such a piece.
So delicate and feminine. I often wonder about their past. Who owned them??? What kind of stories can they tell... How did they end up at an antiques shop or flea market??? I guess I can continue to dream and use my imagination.
These dainty tea cups are were made by Pope Gosser. It is the Rose Point pattern.
Pretty yellow roses in a vintage silver coffee pot and pearls compliment my little vignette perfectly.
Wishing you all a restful and wonderful weekend. Thanks for stopping by.
Those are beautiful. I haven't seen them before but the raised part reminds me of what Spode does too.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
I agree Bernideen. Spode is very similar too. Thanks for visiting sweet friend. Have a lovely weekend.
DeleteSometimes I wonder about the old things I find too. Who own them and why they had to sell them.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and feminine! These are just very cheerful! Like a breath of fresh air.

ReplyDeleteHi and wow how beautiful is the teacup and saucer and plates! The pattern is so pretty and I love the yellow roses in the teapot with the pearls, so delicate. You took such nice pictures of it all. TFS and I saw it on life on lakeshore drive's party. Julie at julieslifestyle.blogspot.com

Lovely vignette. These teacups make me thing of what my mom would call an 'everyday extravagance.' Something beautiful but not to fragile looking to use. Have a great Teacup Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteYour Pope Gosser tea cups are gorgeous! I love the relief pattern on the cup itself as well as the dainty pretty bouquet inside. Your images look marvelous!

Your vignette IS pretty!! I love using old things around my home. Some of them are family heirlooms and I often wonder what my family members would think about how I display their things. A precious way to remember those special people, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteVery pretty cups. I have cups like that too except without the flowers. Just perfect for Earl Gray or Lady Gray tea. I love the look of that amber tea in white cups. :)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and how lucky you are to have those beautiful teacups and saucers.
ReplyDeleteThis set is so very beautiful. I love it! Have a great week. Blessings, Martha
ReplyDeleteI also wonder about who owned the vintage and antique things I have, and I always imagine they would be happy to know that someone treasures them.
ReplyDeleteYour cups are so pretty!
What pretty teacups, Janet! Love roses in a silver teapot too. I often do that. We also have the same teapot. I often wonder about the previous owner of vintage pieces. I wonder about the tea parties the teacup went to and the dinners it attended and how it ever ended up in an antique shop. Although I'm glad it did! This is such a beautiful post and thank you for sharing it at my HOME. I hope you have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi
Your teacups really are gorgeous - I too wonder about the history of my treasures - hoping to continue the appreciation and fondness for them that once was bestowed to them - I appreciate you sharing your lovely post with A Return to Loveliness,

This is truly a gorgeous vignette - love the deep yellow of the roses in the silver pot. I am delighted that you shared with Home and Garden Thursday,

Your tea cups are lovely. They represent the beauty of an era gone by. The roses in their silver teapot, the fresh ironed linens, and the pearls all come together to make for a stunningly beautiful vignette.

Such a beautiful vignette of all things I love. The work on the saucers reminds me of lace. Pearls, yellow roses, silver and teacups? These things all bring a joy and a peace.
