Tea Time

One of the pleasures of tea is the opportunity to gather with friends and to also meet others who share the same passion for tea.  I think by now, we all agree that it is not simply a beverage to be enjoyed, but rather a chance to enjoy the company of friends and family and celebrating the joys of everyday life.  It does not have to be elaborate or time consuming.  It should be fun and easy.

There's no need to invest large sums of money on tea sets, linens, etc.  Just look around your house and find items that you can use to create a gorgeous and memorable atmosphere.

Do however, keep your eyes open all times, at home store sales, antique markets, flea markets, even dollar stores for affordable home accents, - napkins, plates, vases, teacups, tablecloths, glasses, pitchers and start collecting pieces that might inspire your next tea time.

I gathered a few pieces of my own to share this little Tea Time vignette for pure joy and inspiration..

  1. I don't know what I like the most - the scones or the hydrangeas in the vase - very pretty! Thanks for linking!

  2. Another beautiful tea Janet. Oh and yes, you did not forget the pearls. Love that elegant touch. Scones are one of my favorite sweet breads. Your entire table is a thing of beauty. Thanks for sharing it with Share Your Cup.
