Tulips And Vintage China

Hello friends.  Happy Monday to you all.  We had another gorgeous weekend here.  Almost summer like on Saturday.  The signs of spring are everywhere.  Brightly colored trees and daffodils fill the streets and gardens.  So much beauty and warmth that I cannot help having a big smile on my face.

And after the longer than normal winter, this felt pretty perfect for me.  And so hubby and I spend Saturday visiting our favorite nurseries looking for ideas and inspiration.  I was also looking for a white lilac shrub and a hot pink peony plant which are on my wish list for this year.  Most likely, I will find them within the next two weeks since it is still a bit early to plant.

On our way home. we stopped at our local supermarket where I spotted these gorgeous lavender tulips.  And you know that I have a soft spot when it comes to pretty flowers.  But honestly, who can pass up these beauties??  Certainly not me.

What is your favorite spring flower???  Will you be adding any plants to your garden this year?

Here is a little spring loveliness for you.   I hope you all have a great week.

Hugs,

Janet

    1. Hello Debbie, I do love tulips but my favorite flower is the peony although lilacs always make me very happy. You are right, they are very short lived. I am anxiously waiting for my roses and my peonies to bloom.

Thank you for stopping by. Wishing you a blessed week.

  6. The tulips are beautiful and with your pretty dishes they spell SPRING. So glad that you had a nice warm weekend. You had such a bad winter that I know you are welcoming spring.
Love the dishes and they go so well with your lavender/purple tulips.
I am not purchasing anything due to the drought we are having as we have to save our water. I have stopped watering the grass, and I don't care if it dies, but I do care about my roses. So say a prayer that we get rain.
    Enjoy your warm weather.\

  8. The Tulips are so very pretty; as are your dishes and pearls. I love the combination of using the more rustic tub with the flowers. It all works together so well. Good luck with finding your new plants for your garden.

    1. Thanks JP. You are always so sweet. I do love that galvanized tub too. It is very pretty and could be used with lots of styles. And the best part, I only paid $2.99 at my local supermarket.

Will stop by to visit shortly.
