A Little Romance

Hello to you all.  It is Saturday morning.  Yes, my favorite day of the week has finally arrived and to make it even better sweeter, the sun has also decided to bless us with its presence today.  So I am scrambling in the basement, where I store my treasured collections of china to see which one catches my eye and imagination on this glorious day.

It all starts with one simple item.  From there, the spark is ignited and the ideas just begin to flow. Compelling you to pull out your finest decorations and your most cherished objects to create our own little masterpiece.

Today the china that caught my eye was my Mikasa Rosemead.  Delicate, feminine and full of simple elegance.  Who can resist.

And for those of you who follow me, you know that pearls are always a must in my world.  A little faux flower arrangement adds a little romance.

Every teacup has a history.  Perhaps its delicate hues and painted roses bring back fond childhood memories or of a perfect day spent antiquing.  Such a pretty cup for sipping a soothing cup of tea.

Love this little creamer.

I did put a tablescape using this pattern which I will share on my next post.

Roses, roses, roses will always brighten any day..

I hope you are all enjoying your this lovely weekend.

Thank you for stopping by.  I do appreciate your time and your sweet comments.

Fondly,

Janet
