Afternoon In The Garden

Happy Thursday everyone.  Today I thought I share my favorite way to unwind after a long hard day at work.  It is this little corner of my garden.  This solitary sanctuary surrounded by sun-kissed and fragrant flowers make this the ideal spot for a tranquil and relaxing afternoon.

I often sit here with a favorite book or one of my go to magazines.  Perhaps with a little snack and a cup of tea or coffee.  It is my alone time.  Precious, important and greatly needed in this crazy busy world.  What is your favorite spot to relax??

I like to set my little table with a nostalgic appeal.  Combined with a mixture of treasures old and new, gives me a sense of comfort.   The refreshing spirit of my garden truly warms my soul and invites me to enjoy the respite of a lazy afternoon.

Have a lovely day friends.  Thank you for visiting.  Your sweet and kind words are truly appreciated.

  11. Good for you that you make time for yourself... a lesson I need to learn! Being close to nature is one of the most relaxing things to do and you've created such a lovely place to do so. And those Victoria magazines? Aren't they just the best? Great reading material for taking a moment for just you!!

How beautiful is your tea vignette! Those soft colours are just so soothing and I adore that teapot; how sweet! Love your pretty teacup too and I'm guessing it's Limoges. I could certainly sit there too and unwind with Victoria. Thanks for sharing and coming to tea.
