Playing with Dishes

Hello friends.  I hope you are all having a fun weekend.  I have been organizing my dish collection a bit.  For me, it is more like play time with my dishes..  I feel like a kid in a candy store.  So much eye candy that I could not resist putting a little vignette together to share with you today.  So much fun and relaxing.  This is my kind of spring cleaning...

I hope you enjoy!!  Have a wonderful rest of the weekend.

  1. Love your vignette with gorgeous dishes and pretty flowers! I also enjoy organizing my buffets or china storage places, just to look at my dish collection and smile while I look at each one...except the ones I have in boxes in the cellar, lol.. Have a blessed Sunday.

  6. Just what I needed to see this morning...eye candy for my eyes. Love the placement of your pretty dishes...the cups and saucers displayed that way. The peak at the lovely crocheted cloth. Perfect. Especially since for the last four days, I have been nursing some VERY tiny feral kittens. They are about 2 weeks old and my neighbor found them behind his a/c being eaten up by ants. If you've ever been bitten by a Florida ant, you can sympathize with these little babies. No Mom to be found. So thank you for the respite from wiping little bottoms and struggling to get formula into babies who just want their Mama! (I never thought I would be so happy to see cat pee, LOL)

  16. Hi Janet!!

I also love using mixed dishes to decorate. My most beautiful one that is hanging up on my wall cost me $0.50 at a thrift store.

The flowers are beautiful and bring out the patterns on the plates. The whole display is beautiful!! From the dishes to the lace, the candle holder, the flowered fabric and my favorite...The pearls!!!!

Thank you for sharing and have a get week!!!!

    1. I love the name of your blog. There is a British mystery series name Rosemary and Thyme that I just love to watch. There is a wonderful small herb garden in my backyard and Rosemary and Thyme are one of my favorites! Wishing you a good week. We had a snow storm yesterday but it will warm up here by the end of the week.
