Aqua Romance

If there is such a thing as love at first sight, it certainly happened to me with these vintage pieces.  The moment I set eyes on these mis-matched pieces, I saw their potential and new exactly how I wanted to display them.

As you have probably realized by now, I love to collect things with a bit of nostalgia and romance.  Surprisingly or not, vintage items are usually the ones that capture my attention.  And in this case,  it was the soft aqua plate that caught my eye first and that inspired this display.   It is paired with a Limoges Tea Cup, small floral pitcher and what else...roses and pearls of course.

  13. Janet,
Ah~h~h such elegance speaks to this hopeless romantic with the floral of love! Roses were my choice for our wedding. Roses embrace us in the Master bedroom. Roses are the flower that inspires my creativity in Studio One! Thank you for this rose filled post. Inspiration abounds exquisitely!
